Sarah Lucido has been a proud resident of Eastpointe for more than 35 years.  She and her husband Rick have raised their three children in our community.  Sarah was first elected to Eastpointe City Council in 2015 and won reelection in 2019.  She currently serves as Mayor Pro-Tem.  In her time on council Sarah has served as the liaison to the Library Commission, Housing Authority, Beautification, Parks, and Planning Commissions.  She is presently the liaison to the Arts Commission and Cultural Diversity Commission, as well as the Board Vice Chair to both SEMSD (Southeast Macomb Sanitary District) and SMDA (South Macomb Disposal Authority).  MDA (South Macomb Disposal Authority).

Sarah is a founding member of the Association of Community, Fraternal, and Veterans Organizations, a nonprofit group that works with other organizations to produce Eastpointe’s Memorial Day parade and Veterans Day events.  She is a contributing member of the Impact 100 Macomb and Oddfellows charitable organizations.  She is an active participant in Eastpointe’s  P.A.C.E (Police and Community for Equality) committee. Sarah also volunteers her time for various other organizations including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Releaf Michigan.
